Dear Friends,

Over the last 16 years, our mission of supporting children with cancer and other life-changing illnesses and injuries has grown both deeper and broader. In 2007, I could never have dreamed where that first pillowcase for my son, Ryan, would take us. Today, over 2.8M whimsical pillowcases have been delivered to children in 350 hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses, and clinics across North America.

While we initially focused on bringing joy and comfort to children through a fun pillowcase, our mission has expanded to include emotional support for the entire family. When a child is ill, routines shift, priorities change, and life becomes centered around caring for the diagnosed child. Fear, grief and stress can be overwhelming. A significant portion of the children, their siblings, and/or their caregivers will experience post-traumatic stress symptoms, and some will develop
full blown PTSD. We provide a wide range of resources and services for every member of the family and help surround them with a community of support. This empowers caregivers, patients and siblings to develop better skills to cope with the illness today while building resilience to thrive in the future.
