Sunday Funday sewing pillowcases with the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi, for the first time with their family and friends. The event was filled with laughter, creativity, and a strong sense of community. It was a special experience for everyone involved! Thanks to the generosity of Maria Kalisperis, we were honored to be chosen by Father Christ of St. Luke’s Greek Church to participate in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey Music & Dance Festival in Philadelphia. It was a truly unforgettable experience, filled with vibrant traditional Greek costumes, the lively hum of families sewing pillowcases between performances, and the irresistible aroma of mouthwatering Greek treats. Ryan’s Case for Smiles was honored to be included in Villanova University’s annual St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service. Nearly 5,000 students, faculty, and alumni gathered at over 100 sites in service. A crew of 20 RCFS volunteers spent the day teaching students how to sew as they created 400+ pillowcases to be included in our Miles of Pillowcase Smiles Campaign.
