“Our 6 year old son, Triton, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in September of 2016. His journey has been quite an adventure for all of us!! Every act of kindness has been such a huge help! Triton received his shark pillowcase and he loves it! He even brings it to the hospital when we are overnight. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to every person that helps bring kids these little comforts. Cancer is scary. Its tough on little ones to be away from their familiar homes and families. Soft blankets and fun pillowcases….things that help erase the generic feel of a hospital room….are such a huge blessing to these children. Snuggling into a bright pillowcase instead of a sterile blue or white hospital sham…it makes a difference!! Thank you! As a parent I find myself overwhelmed by all the things going on with my son. I think to grab his favorite toys and jammies, but pillowcases and other little details never crossed my mind. We are blessed somebody else has considered it!!” – Triton’s Mom
“When my son Asher was a month old he was diagnosed with a life threatening immunodeficiency. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks, the doctors put him on chemo, steroids and other medicines . He finally got to go home but we had to take him to the clinic 2 times a week to continue his treatment. His doctors decided he was going to need a bone marrow transplant . Asher just turned 4 months old and is in the hospital on aggressive chemo, getting ready for his transplant . It’s definitely not easy being here seeing your child go through such horrible things . My son now has 3 pillowcases and he loves laying on them . Thank you so much for doing this, simple things like this mean a lot to us!” – Ashley, Mom
