Miles of Pillowcase Smiles is here.

Miles of Pillowcase Smiles, our signature sewing event each year; is held in September to coincide with National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Each year, approximately 40,000 children are in cancer treatment across the country. Our goal throughout September, is to create 40,000 pillowcases, striving to deliver one pillowcase for each child in treatment. With your help, we can succeed. Won’t you join us?

One of our many remarkable volunteers!

Across North America, thousands of people volunteer to help us to create, package and deliver pillowcases to children in over 363 hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses and hospice facilities. Each and every one of our treasured supporters has a unique story but also shares a common goal of delivering smiles to children when they need it most.

Our hearts were touched when we learned about Linda who is a passionate sewer from our Palm Beach Florida chapter. She packed a supply of pillowcase kits to pin as she was receiving her chemotherapy. Now that is dedication! Thank you, Linda!

Because of the generous donations from so many, children have found comfort in the pillowcases they received and parents have been reassured that they were not alone.
