THE POWER OF 3

Three million smiles strong!  Endless possibilities ahead!
Dreaming three times bigger.

This GivingTuesday, we’re celebrating 3 million reasons to smile. Thanks to your generosity, 3 million bright, cheerful pillowcases have brought comfort and joy to children facing life-changing illnesses and injuries.

On December 2nd, join a global movement of giving—where we are challenged to come together to spread kindness through volunteering, advocacy, participation, and donations. GivingTuesday is more than a day; it’s a ripple effect of compassion, hope, and community.

At Ryan’s Case for Smiles, this is our moment to rally even more support for children enduring extended, often difficult hospital stays. With your help, we can deliver thousands more pillowcases—small but powerful reminders that they are seen, supported, and not alone.

Every contribution—whether it’s your time, talent, or financial support—helps bring healing through happiness. Together, we’re creating a world where smiles matter, and where even the simplest acts of kindness can have a profound impact.

Let’s make this GivingTuesday one to remember. Because when we come together, the power of 3 becomes the power of millions.

Thank you for being part of something bigger.

Let’s keep the smiles coming!

“Ryan’s Case for Smiles began when my son Ryan was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, which is a form of bone cancer, at the age of 12.  Knowing that he was going to be in the hospital for long periods of time, I wanted to do something to make his room seem a little bit more like home, so I made him a fun bright pillowcase.”  Cindy Kerr “I don’t know that it was even a conscious decision that Cindy made.  It really was just a very simple act of love.”  Gavin Kerr

HERE IS WHAT YOUR GIVING TUESDAY GIFT CAN DO

$12 = 1 pillowcase
$36 = 3 pillowcases (Triple the smiles!)
$120 = 10 pillowcases (Help a full unit!)
$360 = 30 pillowcases (A classroom of comfort!)
$3,000 = 250 pillowcases (A hospital ward’s worth of joy!)

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:

There are many ways you can get involved, and all start with a simple act of kindness. This GivingTuesday, please consider:

  • Contacting your local chapter to volunteer.  Your time is also necessary for us to continue offering pillowcases and resources to families;
  • Sharing our Facebook Page with your friends, family, and colleagues;
  • Introducing RCFS to your company / employer who may be interested in learning more about hosting a team building experience while supporting our mission.
  • Beginning a recurring charitable contribution (through monthly or quarterly giving of any amount) to ensure RCFS can continue to provide much needed distraction and opportunity for a sense of control for children in treatment.
